As you can imagine, we have loads of blanks come through our studio. Brands like Bella + Canvas, Champion, Gildan, Comfort Colors etc. So we know a little about what makes a good blank and what doesn’t. So we thought we’d put together our top 5 best blanks for printing!

In no particular order…

Gildan H000 Hamer Adult T-Shirt
The Gildan H000 is a great t-shirt with a modern classic fit and medium to heavy weight cotton. This is a really great shirt for printing especially if you’re after a more high-end heavier weighted t-shirt. Comes in a bunch of colors as well so no matter what, you can definitely find what you’re looking for.

Rue Porter Ultra Luxury T-Shirt
This one is a crowd favourite at Pixel Sauce, but serves a more specific audience. It’s very boxy and oversized so it’s perfect for a streetwear brand or someone looking for a more stylised vibe for their brand. Very heavyweight cotton so it feels expensive, but if you have a wholesale account they’re super cheap. They’ve just recently added a bunch of colors as well so if this is the type of t-shirt you’re looking for, look no further than Rue Porter’s Ultra Luxury T-Shirt.

Bella + Canvas 3001 Unisex Short Sleeve T-Shirt
This one’s a classic. Different vibe to the other two, the 3001 is a more classic soft jersey t-shirt. With over 120 different colors and fabrics, the 3001 is king in terms of options. A classic fit, lots of sizes and removable tags, this one’s perfect for just about anyone looking to get started printing t-shirts.

Comfort Colors 1717 Adult Tee
Comfort Colors is a really cool brand. All their items are made from soft washed garment dyed fabrics. This gives the items a vintage look even though the garment is brand new. Definitely a go-to if you’re wanting to recreate that bootleg, vintage look that’s super popular in the streetwear world right now. The 1717 has 80 colors to choose from as well, so loads of options when choosing a color for your designs.

Los Angeles Apparel 1801GD
Similar to the 1717, the 1801GD is a garment dyed t-shirt so it has that washed and worn look. It’s also made from a heavy cotton so it feels similar to the Rue Porter t-shirt. It has a higher neckline that most normal t-shirts and has the same boxy look as the Rue Porter. The 1801GD as 18 colors at the moment, so it’s a little low on options, but the quality and fit make up for that.

So there you have it. Our top 5 best blanks for printing. Loads of great options depending on the vibe your brand is going for. What blanks are you going to be using for your next drop?
